Does CBD help when you are too high?

Short answer: it can take the edge off. Longer answer: that is why the missing CBD in UK flower winds me up.

Does CBD help when you are too high?

This one did numbers on YouTube because everyone has been there. You overdo a THC-heavy cultivar, the room tilts, your heart does a drum and bass set without you asking, and someone in the comments always says "eat a mango" like it is 2014.

CBD will not un-smoke you. It is not an antidote. What it can do is compete a bit at the receptor, flatten the spike, and make the next forty minutes feel like a sit-down instead of a white-knuckle bus ride.

That is the entourage effect in the language of a shed, not a paper. THC and CBD grew up on the same plant for a reason. Isolate one, and you get a different medicine. Most UK flower on a script is 20-plus THC and a rounding error of CBD. Then the doctor says buy a separate oil. We are reconstituting the plant at the till.

I have said this until I am blue: I want more balanced flower on the legal list. 50/50 exists. Some pharmacies have it. It is usually in the eighty-to-a-hundred-a-tub region and people still sleep better on it.

This is not medical advice. I am not your consultant. If you are on a script, talk to the clinic before you start stacking oils like a chemist.

If you want the video version, it is on the channel. If you want the conversation, that is what Sunday is for.
